Who we are
tbh.. is a review platform for service providers who market themselves on social media. We are based in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this privacy policy please contact us at hello@tbh.com.
What data we collect
We collect your email address and password when you create an account. We collect reviews, star ratings, and proof of appointment uploads that you submit. We collect usage data such as pages visited and searches performed through cookies and analytics tools.
Why we collect it
We use your email to send you account notifications such as review approvals and rejections. We use proof uploads solely to verify that a review is genuine — these are never shared publicly. We use usage data to improve the platform.
Anonymous reviews
If you choose to post anonymously your name is hidden from the public. However your identity is stored securely in our database. We will never share your identity with the public or with service providers. In exceptional circumstances such as a legal requirement we may be required to disclose information.
How we store your data
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS in the EU (Ireland). All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account your personal data is removed, however your reviews remain on the platform in anonymised form.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing of your data, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights please contact us at hello@tbh.com.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We use analytics cookies to understand how people use tbh.. You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie consent banner.
Third parties
We use Supabase for database and authentication, Resend for transactional emails, and Google Analytics for usage analytics. We do not sell your data to any third party.
Children
tbh.. is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account please contact us immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or by a notice on the platform.
